MYANMAR TRADITIONAL BOXING (MTB)

MTB 27
March 10, 06

Anything can happen in action pack MTB ring. We have seen
everything, such as women fights, great old masters (over 50) competing with
young masters, disable crippled man knocking out the perfect human being, and
international fights, such as USA, Australia, Thailand against Myanmar matches.
MTB warriors grow up with unique playing methods, which are embedded for them
for martial arts trainings. Children that we don't think much capable in the
West are capable warriors in the East. Most of the full grown MTB warriors you
see fighting in the ring grew up fighting from the age five or six. This may
seem exaggeration or impossible for us in the West, but it is true in Myanmar. I
started training since I was six, so many of my friends. Now you can see it with
your own eyes about what the awesome youth warriors can do. I am not talking
about ridiculous "Karate Kids" who come out of lying degenerated karate or kung
fu schools in the USA, who think they can fight because they do one or two
flashy kicks and they have done embarrassing sparing with laughable pads and
gears. This event includes two youth challenged matches, and one youth warrior
(fourteen years old) vs. full grown man and many other awesome challenged
matches. Truly the CHALLENGERS ON TOP OF THE CLOUDS.
Fight 1
Thu Rya Year Aung vs.
Nine Wan Lay
Nine Wan Lay (a hero of MTB 15, KO Yamamoto, Japan) is
another flourishing warrior just like Thu Rya Year Aung. Thu Rya Year Aung (MTB
5, 6, 8, 17, 24) is the golden boy of the Maha Ae Karit Club (famous MTB club in
Mandalay City, Myanmar). He is a little brother of Aung Aung Tun (MTB 12),
defeated by Sau Wan Chine and Shan Lay Thwe at First Class Challenged matches.
The club hopes his little brother can achieve what his big brother has failed.
By the way, Maha Ae Karit Club is a stingy, unfriendly club. They won't let
"outsiders" come and train and learn from they, no matter how much money is
offered. Some of the martial arts techniques are kept secrets even from fellow
Myanmar people in Myanmar.
Fight 2
Myo Min Swe vs. Yan
Shin Aung
DRAW!
Fight 3
Zaw Min Aung vs. Tee Maw
Thay
Counter to various
slamming attempts and neck breaker throws.
Fast high-energy
trades.
DRAW!
Fight 4
Sir Do vs. Kaung Wan Lay
DRAW!
Fight 5

Kya Yaza vs. Yan Myo
Aung

Both under ten year
old. Kya Yaza in Red belt above is a special MTB youth with incredible Bull
Rushes, Leap Punches, Flying Knees with lightening speed in and out. He is
fighting with a bare knuckles and can execute hard-core MTB moves effortlessly.
He KO his opponent at second round. I predict this little tiger will be a master
champion in less than seven years. Look forward for the appearance of that name
Kya Yaza in future MTB events. He might become another Legendary Tha Mun Kya, a
special MTB warrior from the 60s. Read more about MTB youth in the inspiration
below.

Kya Yaza wins by KO.
Fight
6
Sau The Myo vs.
Thunt Zin Tun
Thunt Zin Tun has not been special in the beginning, but
he is so special now after he beats One Dollar (MTB 26). He is awarded a Golden
Belt Champion now. Sau The Myo (MTB 2, 11, 13, 25) is a great undefeated MTB
Golden Belt Champion. He is awarded a Golden Belt Champion very early in his
age. Thunt Zin Tun lands a deadly hooked punch on Sau The Myo neck and he is
unable to continue. This is a heart breaking loss for all MTB fans.
This is what he says to my friend in Myanmar," I have
accomplished great achievements. Now it's time to focus on other aspects of life
as well," my friend tells me back.
Fight 7
Min Min vs. Hla Myint
Oo
Ref starts a standing
count down on Hla Myint Oo in secound round. He can hardly stay standing up and
forfeits the fight.
Min Min KO Hla Myint Oo.
Fight 8
Ah Mait Tha
vs. Win Soe
Again Win Soe is
fighting with bare knuckles. Ah Mait Tha lands a devasting knee right on top of
Win Soe head and he falls down during the fight about 2 min later and forfeits
the fight.
Ah Mait Tha KO Win Soe.
Fight 9

Year Kyi
vs. Kyu Kyu Li
Another very special
MTB match. Year Kyi, fourteen year old takes on a much larger full-grown man. He
is so smooth and perfect. Kyu Kyu Li doesn't have a chance at all. He is KD in
ten sec and is in trouble at each engagement. No doubt, we have another
potential great champion coming.

Year Kyi lands upper
cuts, various punches and knees, kicks, and executes deadly slam downs on his
opponent again and again.

Year Kyi (in blue
trunk) KO Kyu Kyu Li in second round.

Year Kyi Wins!
Fight 10
Sau Sir Wa
vs. Kha Kha

Sau Sir Wa is so exciting to watch. He jumps up and down
and calls out his opponent to attack him and then he goes in and rain down all
kinds of combos. His opponent cannot do much at all and says to ref and the
crowd that his head is spinning and he cannot fight anymore in gestures (so
funny) and forfeits the fight.
Sau Sir Wa wins!!!
Fight 11
Myo Aung
vs. Win Htut
Myo Aung KO Win Htut in ten sec!!!
Fight 12
Year Myat Aung
vs. Tun Tun Lin

Another MTB youth match. Tun Tun Lin is a brother of Kya
Yaza (fight 5), but he hasn't mastered MTB system as much as his brother.
DRAW!
Fight 13
Ah The Lay
vs. Htut Kyawe
Ah The Lay KO Htut Kyawe in 2nd round!!!
Fight 14

Down Bayda
vs. Ah Knack Lay
Down Bayda KO Ah Knack Lay!!!

Inspiration to the Warriors Out
There
Skip this part if you are in a hurry or you don't like
reading.
My friend Phil Dunlap puts up some
pictures of MTB youths training in Myanmar at his web site and some IKA
Kickboxing photo forum with good intentions. They start talking trash
about our MTB youths like they look so skinny and famine how is it
possible they can fight. They also say in sarcasm that oh little boys
they are so cute, etc. Phil says, "yeah it's not so cute when they are
capable of killing people."
Typical shallow prejudice
thoughts about size again. Those people who think big heavy bodies are
good at fighting probably never knew any real fight. Read MTB 17
inspirations again about sizes.
It's not all about how big the
look is, it's all about how healthy and how strong the individual really
is. Being big with disproportional body can actually be a disadvantaged
at fighting. Besides, most of the big muscular men in UFC, Pride FC and
other MMA fights are on steroids. MTB warriors are real natural
warriors.
Power in strikes come from
speeds and maximum use of well-coordinated movements, not so much from
muscles at all.
Thanks. God Bless you.
