MYANMAR TRADITIONAL BOXING (MTB)

MTB 28
March 23, 06

Great historic fights such as local unknown warriors
from the remote villages come onto the stage and rock with the established
warriors. The last fight of the First Class Champion Shan Lay Thwe is here,
where the Little Rookie Champion takes on him in this historic match.
Fight 1
Zaw Lay vs. Aung Aung
Oo
Zaw Lay's low kick hurts Aung Aung Oo in
3rd round and KO him.
Fight 2
Pyit Tine Htoun vs. Soe
Mite Mite

Pyit Tine Htoun KO Soe
Mite Mite with beautiful combo.
Fight 3
Tun Tun vs. Tun Tun Win
Tun Tun's rank falls
whenever he fights a serious golden belt champion. He loses badly to One Dollar
at MTB 26, unable to stop numerous Leap Punches again and again. He can KO this
rookie Tun Tun Win nevertheless.
Fight 4
Chit Maung vs. Kye Pyu Lay
Chit Maung is a skillful
man, but not a dedicated warrior. Once in a while, these kinds of opponents come
onto MTB ring and rock the dedicated warriors. Those matches are always fun and
interesting to watch. Kye Pyu Lay likes to keep in under control, but Chit Manug
comes out so wild, so effectively and KD the pro warrior twice. The crowd loves
him and he's also having a time of his life in the ring. Kye Pyu Lay gets Chit
Maung with stealth downward crushing knees during the slam downs...

Kye Phy
opportunistic and patient and explodes with a Bull Rush and a punishing knee and
KO Chit Maung. Chit Maung reminds me Chit Ma Watt at MTB 16. They are both so
cool, whether they win or lose.
Fight 5
Pa Shoo Lay vs. Sau
Nine Lin
Another Pro vs. Joe
type of match. Pa Shoo Lay is a Gold Belt Champ.
Pure powerhouse vs.
lean skillful champ. Sau Nine Lin is strong as an ox and gets knocked down many
times, but he won't give up and gets a draw with the Champion Pa Shoo Lay--have
to give credit for that...
Fight
6
Maung Mare vs.
Sau Hla Lay

Maung Mare gives no chance at all to
his opponent and KO him...

Fight 7
Sau Ko Ko vs. One Pite
DRAW.
Fight 8
Yone Tha Lay
vs. Let Thee Maung Maung

Yone Tha Lay KO him
under one minute.
Fight 9
Nine Tun Aye
vs. Kyaw Htite
Draw.
Fight 10
Sau Kna Mun
vs. Shan Lay Thwe
This is a very special fight, in a way that Sau Kna Mun
defeats the veteran First Class Master Champion and also in a way that this is
the last fight of Shan Lay Thwe (Kyaw Zwa).
Sau Kna Mun's head butts have nothing on Shan Lay Thwe but
his low kicks come out like lightening...

Sometimes he kicks three or four times in a role to the
same leg.

The old master slows down drastically
Sau Kna Mun corner's yelling, "Don't rush! Don't rush!"
because he's still dangerous and could turn the fight...
Sau Kna Mun continues to do damage with low kicks and the
old master leg is now turning black and blue

Shan Lay Thwe is winking each time Sau Kna Mun kick. He
walks back limping at the end of 2nd round.
At this point, it's all a matter of pride. Shan Lay Thwe
is fighting back only to show that he is who he was, the Veteran Champion. He
knows it's not possible to beat Sau Kna Mun anymore at this point, but he's not
giving it up and staying in the fight.
The old master forfeits the fight in the beginning of the
forth round. He can barely walk.
Sau Kna Mun wins!!!!!!
It's not easy to defeat Shan Lay Thwe. Wan Chine couldn't
beat him; Shwe Du Win couldn't beat him.

Inspiration to the Warriors Out
There
Skip this part if you are in a hurry or you don't like
reading.
Those who feel bad about themselves feel threatened when
they see something so strong and extraordinary. I was training outdoor last
summer in a park and a ridiculous girl comes to me and says, "don't kick the
tree. Tree can feel the pain." Spring is coming soon. Let's go outside and
train.
Thanks. God Bless you.
