MYANMAR TRADITIONAL BOXING (MTB)
June 08, 06
MTB 31

This is the event held out door at one of the remote
villages. It is good to be able to see events there because we get to see great
local warriors with deadly skills. Unknown local warriors cannot travel to the
big cities to participate in big indoor events because they are poor and have
lives to attend to. Nonetheless they never fail to rock on the stage when it
comes to them. Heroes are born! Shwe Htee, a very skilled local warrior KO an
experienced veteran Chit Moe Sway. Lu Lay, undefeated rising warrior faces a
deadly local warrior who gives him a hard time. I give this fight the fight of
this event. He finds the opponent's weakness quickly and uses clinching and
crushing slam downs against him right away. As always, awesome unexpected KOs in
the MTB events!
Fight 1
NYI NYI ZAW vs. NOUN
LONE PHYAN

Both big experienced
warriors. Clash of the titans!
Kneed in the face and
effect comes 10 sec later and Nyi Nyi Zaw goes down while fighting.
Noun Lone Phyan wins!
Fight 2
SAU ZAW LWIN vs. TATO
WA
Great
match to witness some of the very technical basics of the MTB system.
They are both challenging each other and trying to show "I know better
than you!"
Draw.
Fight 3
ZAT LITE vs. NINE NINE
Draw.
Fight 4
MIN SAT KYA vs. NAY WIN
TUN
Draw.
Fight 5
MARE LAY vs. SANAY LAY

Mare Lay is kneed
in the face and he gets mad and unleash the lighting combos of attacks
and quickly KO Sanay Lay. Mare Lay wins!
Fight
6
SAU THE MYO vs. KYE TA PWINT

Rematch! Kye Ta Pwint lost only once
to Sau The Myo in MTB 2. Was very close match nevertheless.
They both use all kinds of MTB bag of tricks in
arsenal. Kye Ta Pwint is knocked down twice and saved by the bell. No doubt Sau
The Myo is the better man.
Fight 7
LU LAY vs. CONCRETE
STAR

Concrete comes out unexpectedly strong,
aggressive, and good. Lu Lay gets a black eye and is stunned a bit. No panic for
Lu Lay even so. Ever dangerous and experienced warrior changes the fight trends
right away and gets inside and uses clinches, knees, and slam downs. Big Knee!!!
3 min break taken.

Lu Lay catches Concretes' one leg and
crush him down on the mat with incredible speed and impact. His head hit on the
floor and is KO instantly. Lu Lay wins!!! Fight of the match!

Fight 8
KYAW KYA vs. YAZA AUNG
Amazing disable warrior who body is deform
comes onto the stage and rocks again. He doesn't get special treatment. He
fights healthy, big normal MTB man. Draw.

Fight 9
ATHE LAY vs. ZEYA MYINT
Draw.
SHWE
HTEE vs. CHIT MORE SWAY
Shwe Htee very
good at spotting the weaknesses of the opponent's posture. Chit Moe Sway goes
down many time by Shwe Htee's stealth counter attacks. Big head butt KO! Shwe
Htee wins!!!

SHWE SINE vs. EIR TEE
CAU
Incredible match up. Neither
shows any pain nor back off, despite the blows landed on their bodies. Eir Tee
Cau is not ranked #1, but his skill level is dead even with current number one
warriors, such as Shwe Sine, Lone Chaw and Sau Kna Mun. Lost to Sau Kna
Mun at MTB 20 in an incredible battle, but it won't be easy for Shwe Sine to
defeat Eir Tee Cau... Draw.
